First time dining at this cozy cafe. There was a short wait to be seated after putting our name on the waitlist. Enjoyed the matcha latte while waiting for food. Food was delicious, except the rustic bread that came with our orders would be better with butter. Hostess, barista and server were all nice. Easy to find street parking on a weekday. I'll try other menu items and baked goods on our next trip to Monterey!

I ordered the steamed salmon dish. I would have preferred whole eggs instead of egg whites in the dish. The service was a little slow but it was busy and somewhat noisy. The atmosphere was comfortable.

Line was out the door (a good sign in my opinion) and read it was one of the best to try for breakfast/lunch. We loved EVERYTHING! Put our name on the waiting list and everyone in contact with us was so kind. Everything we ordered was delicious and wow, incredible coffee! The coffee came out in beautiful painted "bowl" like cups. Unique and amazing coffee. The bread served on the side was one of the best breads I have eaten. Ordered some Togo and enjoyed it when we got home. I definitely recommend and would go back every time we come back to Monterey.
